I recently purchased the Python Integration Toolkit Add-on for LabVIEW and I am having trouble activating it.
  • I cannot find where I am supposed to enter the serial number I received for the Add-on.
  • I tried entering the toolkit serial number in NI License Manager Activation Wizard and it did not work.
  • I do not see the toolkit as an option in the Activate Add-on Wizard.
How do I activate my Enthought Python Integration Toolkit?

The Python Integration Toolkit is a third-party Add-on for LabVIEW. You can get access to this piece of software by buying an license from NI or directly from Enthought. You will receive a serial number to activate the software. Follow the steps in the link below to activate the software.

Also, you will received an email within the next few days after the purchase, with a"License ID" and a "Password". This information is required to successfully activate the software.

If you do not see the toolkit as an option in the Activate Add-on Wizard in LabVIEW, try the following troubleshooting steps:
  1. Verify the toolkit is installed in your version of LabVIEW. Open VI Package Manager and navigate to the Python Integration Toolkit in the main window. If the toolkit is installed, a small LabVIEW icon should appear next to it.
  1. Restart your computer then re-open the Activate Add-ons Wizard in LabVIEW by selecting Help >> Activate Add-ons
  2. Attempt to run the toolkit in LabVIEW by selecting Tools >> Python Integration Toolkit >> Select Default Python. A pop-up prompt will appear. Select Cancel on the window.

Navigate back to the Activate Add-ons Wizard and the toolkit should appear as an option.
