Issue Details

I have set up a MySQL database to use with TestStand. I tried to add the default tables required by TestStand in that database but I keep getting "Error 0: Data source name not found and no default driver specified". Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Solution

This issue is caused by an incorrect Connection String Expression in the TestStand Database Options windows. To resolve this, use the correct syntax for the connection string that you can find inĀ Configuring Connection Strings.
