Issue Details

I am manually entering an IQ rate when configuring my hardware, and later in the program I read back the actual IQ rate. Sometimes the IQ rate that I read back doesn't match the IQ rate I specified. Why does this occur?

Solution

In some cases, a device may not support the particular IQ rate you specify. When this occurs, the hardware will coerce the IQ rate to the closest value that it does support. This is referred to as the actual, or coerced, IQ rate. Different devices will support different ranges and values for IQ rate.
