Error -301724: Invalid Firmware When Using USB-8452

Issue Details

When I try to use my USB-8452, I get the following error message:
 

 
Error -301724 occurred at an unidentified location

Possible reason(s):

NI-845x:  Invalid firmware version detected. Ensure that you are using the latest version of NI-845x. If you are using the NI USB-8451 on Windows XP, the provided update tool must be executed. If the problem persists, contact National Instruments technical support at ni.com/support.

How do I fix this?

Solution

Some versions of the USB-8452 are incompatible with NI-845x versions earlier than 2.1. To resolve this error, please upgrade beyond NI-845x 2.1. Check the readme for supported operating systems and versions of LabVIEW.
