I want to use the device (USB-8502) to communicate with an automotive ECU. 
What are the development environments in which I can program my NI USB 8502?
 

Solution

The NI USB 8502 uses XNET driver which supports the following development environments:
  1. LabVIEW
  2. LabWindows/CVI
  3. Microsoft Visual C/C++
