Solution
NI cards and cables with the GPIB Analyzer functionality have the plus (+) designation in their names.
For example, GPIB+ for devices or HS+ for cables.
If you are uncertain whether your card is GPIB+ or HS+, check the device part number against the product listing here: https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/hardware/products/gpib-instrument-control-device.html?modelId=120495.
There should also be a sticker on the front side (near the GPIB connector) indicating the device type.
