Issue Details

I want to know when my VI is creating new buffers. When and where does LabVIEW create new buffers?

Solution

Starting with version 7.1, LabVIEW has the built-in ability to show where buffer allocations occur in your code. In LabVIEW 8.x and later, you can find this utility in the Tools» Profile» Show Buffer Allocations.... menu. In LabVIEW 7.1, you can find the utility in the Tools » Advanced menu.
