IVI Instrument Specific Instrument Drivers

  1. Go to

Control Panel»Add or Remove Programs»National Instruments IVI Specific Drivers

     and click on Change/Remove.

  2. Highlight the driver you would like to uninstall and click Remove.

  3. If your driver does not appear in the list, then it is likely that you have a Plug and Play Instrument Driver. Close Add or Remove Programs and follow the instructions for the Plug and Play Instrument Drivers.

Plug and Play Instrument Drivers

  1. For LabVIEW Plug and Play instrument drivers, go to

    <National Instruments>\LabVIEW\instr.lib

and delete the folder that contains your instrument driver.

  2. For CVI drivers, delete the directory that contains your instrument driver. The user can place these drivers in any directory, so it is up to the user to know where this directory resides at on the computer. The recommended installation location for CVI drivers is

     <National Instruments>\CVI\inst.
